We are looking for a dependable General Office Clerk to support day-to-day administrative operations for a construction and contractor environment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a mix of clerical duties in a busy office setting. The person in this role will help keep records accurate, office workflows efficient, and team support needs moving forward. Job Responsibility:
Manage routine clerical activities that help maintain smooth daily office operations across the team
Organize, update, and store both physical files and digital records to ensure documents remain accurate and easy to retrieve
Receive, sort, and route incoming mail, and prepare outbound correspondence, shipments, and packages for delivery
Use standard office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines to complete administrative work efficiently
Track supply levels, replenish stock, and coordinate orders so the office remains properly equipped
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to staff and leadership on special assignments and general office needs
Perform data entry and document scanning tasks with accuracy to support back-office processes and record maintenance
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role
Proficiency in scanning documents, organizing files, and maintaining records in both paper and electronic formats
Strong data entry skills with close attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to support back-office functions and manage multiple routine tasks efficiently
Comfortable operating common office equipment, including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines
Good organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced office environment
Clear communication skills and a detail-oriented approach when working with team members and management
