This individual will have responsibility for the overall management, promotion, and operation of the arena, including purchasing, booking, marketing, finance, human resources, food and beverage, box office, advertising, security, production, maintenance, parking, and related operations.
Job Responsibility:
Overall management, promotion, and operation of the arena
Control of day-to-day operations
Negotiation and final approval on all lease agreements, contracts, and agreements
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Coordinate, implement and administer plans and programs prescribed by corporate directives
Develop and implement facility goals
Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct all activities and personnel
Assist with development of annual operating calendar, activity schedules, and projections
Direct development, administration and execution of all financial and operating reports
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 7-10 years of industry experience in a senior management level position within an Arena, Convention Center, or Stadium
Ability to perform effectively under significant pressure
Demonstrate business acumen with a client/customer service focus
