This is a senior leadership role for an established hotel GM with proven success in large, operationally complex, upper-upscale or luxury city hotels. Following its recent rebranding into the Autograph Collection, the St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel is entering an exciting new chapter. This iconic, heritage-rich property requires an accomplished General Manager with the experience, presence and commercial acumen to lead a complex, high-profile London hotel through its next phase — balancing brand individuality, operational excellence and strong owner partnership.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the overall strategy and day-to-day operations of a landmark London hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experience, financial performance and brand alignment
Partner closely with ownership and Marriott International to deliver agreed commercial, operational and reputational outcomes
Drive performance across a multi-outlet, F&B-led operation, managing complexity across rooms, meetings & events and public spaces
Champion the hotel’s unique heritage and individuality within the Autograph Collection while maintaining rigorous operational standards
Build, develop and retain a strong Executive Committee and leadership team, fostering accountability, engagement and succession
Represent the hotel across the London hospitality landscape, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, partners and local institutions
Requirements:
Proven General Manager experience within upper-upscale or luxury hospitality, ideally in a large, complex city hotel
Strong commercial and operational track record, including managing high room counts, significant F&B revenue and M&E operations
Demonstrated experience operating in the London market, with a strong understanding of labour dynamics, demand patterns and competitive landscape
Credible experience working with hotel owners, investors or asset managers, balancing brand, commercial and ownership priorities
A confident, visible leader with the gravitas to lead a landmark property
Strong operator with attention to detail and an ability to manage complexity at scale
Commercially astute, data-driven and comfortable making clear, timely decisions
