Job Description:

The General Manager’s mission is to drive sustainable, profitable growth for the client and lead day-to-day operations across the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the GM will act as the right hand to the founder and oversee a remote team of 20+ professionals across marketing, sales, product, engineering, IT operations, finance, and HR. The role will have four direct reports (team leads). The GM will help define standards, implement operational systems, track key metrics, ensure accountability, protect the company culture, and support expansion of the client's B2B product direction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive sustainable, profitable growth for the client and lead day-to-day operations across the organization
  • Full P&L accountability
  • Cross-functional team leadership
  • Delivery of strategic goals
  • Continuous improvement of operational efficiency, revenue generation, and customer acquisition
  • Diagnose core business challenges, identify opportunities, and propose improvements
  • Lead strategic initiatives aimed at unlocking growth and improving performance
  • Assume full P&L responsibility within 3–6 months
  • Drive sustainable profitability and manage financial performance
  • Lead and develop a distributed team of 20+ across multiple departments
  • Build high-performing structures across marketing, sales, product, tech, operations, finance, and HR
  • Oversee recurring revenue performance and subscription lifecycle optimization
  • Improve core SaaS metrics (MRR, CAC, LTV, Churn)
  • Maintain strong company culture and alignment
  • Implement dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to ensure transparency and performance tracking

Requirements:

  • Proven experience growing a small SaaS company (under 50 people)
  • Leadership experience in companies with ARR $2M–$10M
  • 4+ years in B2B SaaS (required as the client grows their B2B offering)
  • Background in technical, product, engineering, or operational roles
  • 4+ years of P&L ownership
  • Experience managing distributed, multicultural teams
  • 3+ years of remote leadership
  • Strong foundation in sales & marketing (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with subscription funnels and SaaS metrics
  • Experience working closely with founders or acting as a “second-in-command”
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)

Experience managing teams in Eastern Europe / Balkans is a plus
