Our client is the leading provider of integrated geospatial, utilities, and asset maintenance solutions. As they enter an exciting new phase of expansion, they are seeking a commercially driven and people-focused General Manager to lead the business. Working in close partnership with the CEO, you will take full accountability for the performance of the business, spanning financial outcomes, operational delivery, and leadership across seven diverse service divisions.
Job Responsibility:
Strategy & Growth: Translate high-level strategic direction into executable outcomes, identifying and capitalising on new market opportunities
Commercial & Financial: Take full ownership of the P&L, budgets, and financial performance while managing pipeline, utilisation, and profitability
Leadership & Culture: Lead and develop a senior leadership team of seven direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, alignment, and high employee engagement
Operations & Delivery: Ensure seamless, high-quality delivery across all service lines, aligning resources with client demand and supporting complex multi-disciplinary projects
Governance & Risk: Oversee WHS, quality, and compliance frameworks, acting as the key escalation point for major commercial and operational matters
Requirements:
Proven Experience: A background in senior leadership within geospatial, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or a closely related sector
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success with full P&L ownership and managing the financial health of a multi-million dollar business
Leadership Depth: Experience 'leading leaders'—managing multiple business units or service lines through a direct-report leadership team
Strategic Execution: The ability to operate at a high strategic level while maintaining an eye on operational excellence
Influence: A strong leadership presence with the ability to drive outcomes and influence stakeholders at all levels
