We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead hotel operations and drive performance across guest satisfaction, financial results, brand compliance, and associate engagement. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-accountability environment, leads with integrity, and is passionate about delivering best-in-brand service. The General Manager serves as the hotel’s primary strategic leader, overseeing daily operations while ensuring strong financial performance, exceptional guest experiences, and a high-performing team culture. This role partners closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Accounting, and Maintenance to achieve both hotel and company objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Provide day-to-day leadership of all hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and limited Food Service
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team and frontline associates
Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety regulations, and company operating procedures
Drive guest satisfaction through proactive service recovery, quality inspections, and regular property walks
Oversee labor management and expense controls to maximize profitability
Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve RevPAR, guest scores, and operational efficiency
Participate in weekly revenue and company strategy meetings
Serve as the hotel’s primary ambassador within the local community and market
Requirements:
2–4+ years of hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a branded select-service hotel
Marriott experience strongly preferred
familiarity with Marriott systems
Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments
Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and foster a positive, high-engagement culture
Solid understanding of hotel financials, including P&L management, labor controls, and budgeting
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
