This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the state’s strategy across both the service delivery and the commercial performance. You will lead a diverse portfolio, ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, quality, and child safety. You will have full ownership of the state performance, including P&L accountability, and play a key role in aligning operations with our organisational vision, values, and long-term strategy.

Requirements:
Extensive senior operations leadership experience, preferably in education or a highly regulated sector, with proven ability to manage dispersed teams
Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership, results orientation, and focus on continuous improvement
Deep knowledge of education and childcare regulations, frameworks, and current OSHC practices
Proven track record in building high-performing teams, driving cultural and behavioural change, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence and connect across all organisational levels and with external partners and parents
