Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Drive operational efficiencies while protecting service levels
  • Achieve or exceed annual revenue, profit, and market share objectives
  • Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, labor controls, and expense management
  • Analyze financial statements and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Deliver strong GOP performance and ownership returns
  • Partner with the Sales and Revenue Management teams to grow market share
  • Develop strategies that increase occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
  • Maintain strong relationships within the Lafayette business community
  • Actively participate in sales initiatives and community engagement efforts
  • Protect and enhance the physical asset through preventive maintenance programs

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hotel General Manager experience
  • Marriott experience strongly preferred
  • Proven record of achieving revenue and profitability goals
  • Strong understanding of hotel financial statements and budgeting
  • Experience leading multiple department heads and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive results

Nice to have

  • Courtyard by Marriott experience
  • Strong sales and revenue management background
  • Experience with labor management, forecasting, and operational systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
