This role goes beyond the standard Club Manager position. As General Manager, you own the entire operation – from team and revenue to wellness, partnerships, and the full member journey. You’ll be the face and heartbeat of the club, elevating performance, atmosphere, and culture every single day. Job Responsibility:
Build, coach, and energise a strong, high-performance team across fitness, PT, hosts, and wellness
Recognise talent and drive personal and professional development
Keep the vibe high: inspire collaboration, accountability, and an unmistakable TrainMore atmosphere
Guarantee a premium service level – gritty, stylish, motivating, and member‑obsessed
Make every touchpoint count: floor, wellness, PT, hygiene, music, energy
Stay connected with members and create moments they remember long after their workout
Take ownership of revenue: subscriptions, PT, retention, lockers, vending, wellness upsell, and local partnerships
Understand the numbers and turn insights into action
Build creative, urban‑minded initiatives that boost engagement and loyalty
Hit – and exceed – your monthly KPIs with confidence
Oversee the club’s P&L and operate with a strategic, commercial mindset
Manage budgets, cost control, forecasting, and planning
Keep the club spotless, safe, and aligned with TrainMore brand standards – including wellness
Report performance clearly and consistently
Create strong local partnerships that reflect the Den Haag community
Position TrainMore as the go‑to fitness and wellness hub in the area
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a senior management role in fitness, hospitality, or high‑service environments
A background in hospitality, business, sports management – or equivalent real-world know-how
Strong communication skills, analytical sharpness, and operational excellence
A service mindset with attention to detail – but with the raw TrainMore twist
A leadership style that inspires, energises, and sets the pace
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Experience working with B2B partnerships and commercial opportunities
