General Manager for Fleetch, the subsidiary of Heetch, an African-born, global mobility fintech that provides revenue-based vehicle financing and financial services to mobility entrepreneurs across ride-hailing platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day operations of Fleetch in Luanda
Implement and monitor operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability
Ensure regular reporting of activities and performance to HQ
Manage P&L and ensure alignment with Fleetch's business plan and strategic objectives
Drive local growth initiatives and identify new business opportunities
Recruit, onboard, and manage Fleetch teams (operations, sales, drivers)
Define OKRs, assign tasks, and monitor execution
Ensure team motivation and well-being in collaboration with the Office Manager
Lead cross-functional collaboration between business development, fleet ops, and driver ops teams
Manage relationships with fleet owners and ensure high-quality service delivery
Oversee car allocation, driver performance, and debt collection processes
Maintain strong relations with key partners: car distributors, garages, insurance companies, etc
Grow car and fleet acquisition for ride-hailing and delivery sectors
Negotiate and secure long-term partnerships with fleet owners
Promote Fleetch’s brand and influence within the mobility ecosystem
Participate in fundraising and debt raising efforts for local operations
Analyze market trends and generate insights for strategic decisions
Provide actionable, data-driven analysis to HQ teams
Adapt and improve existing processes
create new ones to support business scale-up
Requirements:
7+ years of operations management or business consulting, proven in building and developing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering business goals
Proven leadership with 3+ years of people management experience: you have a high emotional intelligence, and prove the ability to deliver outstanding results through others in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
Entrepreneurial hustle and proven self-starter with owner’s mentality
Data-driven mindset, with strong business judgment, and proven ability to perform analysis, draw key insights, form and execute a strategy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and inspire others
Excellent organization and time management
Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams
