Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out project monitoring and coordination of renewable energy project execution activities
  • Engage in project management and resource planning
  • Work with clients on assigned projects to identify solutions to business problems and streamline processes
  • Formulate policies with respect to regulatory aspects, commercial due diligence, bid process management, growth-market entry strategy, business planning, process improvement, electricity tariff determination, power procurement, rural electrification, renewable energy, smart grid, etc.
  • Proposing new business ideas, business models and financial models
  • Perform policy analysis and regulatory work on behalf of the client related to energy efficiency
  • Interpret technical specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations related to renewable energy projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Government officials and regulatory bodies
  • Carry out any other projects or tasks assigned by the reporting officer from time to time

Requirements:

  • B.E./ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 22 years of work experience is required as on 1st July 2024
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy, upcoming energy technologies, electric vehicles, regulations, policies and incentives at the local, regional and national levels
  • Experience of managing rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects, floating solar, ultra mega solar parks, solar with BESS and other renewable energy projects
  • Experience in the preparation of DPRs, business models, bid process coordination and monitoring the execution process of renewable energy projects
  • Ability to analyze and interpret various Government policies, stay abreast of legislative changes and provide insights on their implications for the organization
  • Experience in the implementation and execution of renewable energy projects
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and power systems, including HV and EHV substations
  • Knowledge of project management software such as MS project, TeamWork, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Government officials, industry associations and community representatives
  • Knowledge of testing procedures and standards for renewable energy system components
  • Ability to articulate complex industry issues effectively to Government stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of professionals
