We are seeking a high-caliber GM Postpaid for a business-critical senior executive leadership mandate. Reporting directly to the EGM Mobile, this executive will fully own the strategy, commercial growth, and end-to-end P&L performance for the entire consumer mobile portfolio. You will manage substantial operating revenues and gross margin performance while driving a low-cost, highly efficient operating model across service plans, device equipment, roaming, and connected tech. Job Responsibility
P&L Accountability: Proactively manage the portfolio's financial performance down to the Gross Margin line to consistently meet annual operating plans and long-term targets
Strategic Growth: Drive new customer acquisitions and retention strategies across existing segments, partnering heavily with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Value Management
Commercial Roadmaps: Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of strategic pricing and promotional offer roadmaps
Brand Storytelling: Utilise deep market research and consumer insights to bring the brand to life, crafting a compelling product proposition that resonates with the Australian consumer market
Enterprise Leadership: Provide inspiring leadership to a team of 12 specialists (including 4 Executives and 8 Professional staff) while aligning wider cross-functional business lines on a unified product vision
Governance & Compliance: Lead the Go-to-Market governance framework to ensure flawless execution in-market while maintaining full legal and regulatory compliance
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a fast-paced product marketing environment, including at least 5 years explicitly within the consumer telecommunications sector. (ESSENTIAL)
Proven experience operating within complex businesses managing a large, high-volume customer base
End-to-end product management experience stretching from initial concept development to in-market execution
Highly advanced marketing plan development skills covering product positioning, targeted promotion, and complex strategic pricing structures
An inspiring team manager adept at long-term succession planning and building robust talent pipelines
Post-graduate qualifications are essential
MBA is highly regarded
