Job Description:

A landmark, large-scale retail mall serving as a critical commercial anchor within a high-traffic precinct. This asset is a high-occupancy environment characterized by non-stop footfall and a dense mix of retail, F&B, and essential service providers. We are seeking a General Manager with proven mastery in comprehensive mall operations, facility management, and sophisticated public space management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Mall Operations & Soft Services: Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage and upgrade customer facilities
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and vibrant environment
  • Facility Management & Hard Services: Manage operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure
  • Implement preventive maintenance and repair schedules
  • Investigate technical failures and lead defect rectifications
  • Plan and execute minor installations and facility replacements
  • Stakeholder Management & Governance: Act as primary spokesperson and representative
  • Navigate complex licensing and operations requirements
  • Serve as bridge between owners and tenants
  • Direct, coach, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team
  • Financial Leadership & Business Planning: Full accountability for profit and loss
  • Develop and manage comprehensive annual business plans, OPEX, and CAPEX budgets
  • Monitor and report on yearly budget performance

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • At least 15 years of comprehensive experience in Facilities Management (encompassing both soft services and hard services)
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within a large-scale retail and shopping mall environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, identifying clear opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous process improvement
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven track record in client and stakeholder management at a high level
  • Experience managing high-load, high-occupancy environments with complex infrastructure and 24/7 service requirements
