Job Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver the yearly eCommerce strategy across owned and marketplace channels, including sales budgets, forecasting and trade planning
  • Lead online trade performance, using daily and weekly insights to maximise sales, conversion, average order value and customer engagement
  • Own the end-to-end site experience, including product search, navigation, merchandising, content, cart, shipping, returns and customer service feedback loops
  • Partner cross-functionally with Buying, Planning, Creative, Marketing, Retail, Finance and Warehouse teams to ensure aligned execution across product, campaigns, stock and trade activity
  • Drive digital growth opportunities through site enhancements, search engine optimisation, marketplace expansion, promotional activity and customer experience improvements
  • Manage marketplace partnerships, agency relationships and external suppliers to optimise performance, brand experience and commercial outcomes
  • Deliver clear, action-based reporting and recommendations across trade, sales, marketplace performance, customer behaviour and market trends
  • Lead, develop and retain a high-performing, highly engaged eCommerce team while driving process improvements and scalable ways of working

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience managing an eCommerce function and delivering online sales growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning sales budgets, trade performance, forecasting and digital growth initiatives
  • Experience working across eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, AP21 or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of user experience, online merchandising, stock management, content management systems, web analytics and search engine optimisation
  • Proven ability to use data, insights, market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities and improve performance
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Buying, Planning, Marketing, Creative, Retail, Finance and Warehouse
  • Confidence managing external partners, agencies and marketplace relationships to deliver commercial and brand outcomes
  • Excellent communication, planning and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for customer experience, digital innovation and continuous improvement
