The humanitarian and medical organisation, Doctors without borders, opened a Shared IT Service (SITS) centre in Prague, Czechia, in 2019. This centre provides IT support to all interested parties around the world – people sent to missions, operating centres, sections and branch offices. Its core mission is to streamline global IT delivery across the international MSF movement—maximizing efficiency, eliminating duplicated efforts, and elevating the quality of shared technology support. As the General Manager, you will hold overall accountability for the strategic direction, financial stewardship, performance, and long-term sustainability of SITS. Working in close alignment with the Information Systems Management (ISM) Platform, you will translate a global vision into concrete action plans that ensure our shared services are secure, compliant, cost-effective, and fully geared toward saving lives in crisis zones. While you drive high-level strategy, governance, and stakeholder trust, day-to-day operational oversight is delegated to your Deputy General Manager and a dedicated Management Team of SITS.Although SITS is based in Prague, the role can be executed remotely within +/- 2 hours time difference from CET zone.
