Job Description

A rare and exciting opportunity has come up following a strategic decision to create a new executive leadership role: General Manager, Marketing & Growth. This is a cornerstone appointment and a genuine step-change for the business, in how they market, how they sell, and how they grow. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a seat at the executive leadership table with real accountability for transforming how CrestClean grows, not just how it communicates. This role will shape the marketing function into a performance-driven growth engine with a meaningful commercial dimension. Working in close partnership with the GM of Operations and 19 Regional Managers, you’ll ensure marketing activity directly supports the sales effort across the network. You’ll manage both an internal marketing production team and a new external agency relationship, coordinating both channels to deliver consistent, insight-led output. An experienced commercial marketing leader will play a key part in elevating a tactical team into a strategic, growth-led function. One that gives the nationwide RM network the tools, campaigns, and collateral to win.

Job Responsibility

  • Refreshing CrestClean’s digital and online presence
  • Building a structured marketing calendar with targeted, insight-led campaigns across key sectors: Education, Healthcare, Office, Manufacturing, and Retail
  • Managing both the internal marketing production team and a new external agency partnership, establishing a high-performing hybrid model
  • Establishing performance marketing frameworks with clear, measurable outcomes
  • Owning lead generation and shifting the business from inbound-reliant to proactive, structured growth
  • Working alongside the GM of Operations and the nationwide Regional Manager network to provide the marketing support, tools, and campaigns that drive pipeline at a local level
  • Driving long-term customer experience initiatives that improve retention and lifetime value

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B services, franchised, multi-site, or distributed organisations
  • Real accountability for demand generation, lead quality, and revenue growth – not just brand and communications
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to work alongside sales and operational teams to enable growth, without necessarily owning a sales target
  • Capability across digital, CRM, performance marketing, and marketing technology
  • Experience integrating marketing with field sales and operational teams
  • The ability to manage agency partnerships alongside an internal team, getting the best from both
  • A genuine, grounded leadership style – CrestClean’s culture is positive and high-engagement, and they want someone who reflects that
