Job Description:

This position requires you to offer strategic leadership to the Indigenous Engagement Team and Programs at Ayers Rock Resort. The main goal of this role is to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both Anangu and Voyages by facilitating culturally safe access to employment, education, and social and economic advantages. This involves the development, leadership, and coordination of the Real Jobs, Employment Pathways, and Education Pathways Programs, which provide activities and opportunities for Anangu residing in the NPY region. Additionally, effective management of key stakeholders related to these programs is essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Offer strategic leadership to the Indigenous Engagement Team and Programs at Ayers Rock Resort
  • Achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both Anangu and Voyages by facilitating culturally safe access to employment, education, and social and economic advantages
  • Development, leadership, and coordination of the Real Jobs, Employment Pathways, and Education Pathways Programs
  • Effective management of key stakeholders related to these programs
  • Establish, maintain and grow effective working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strategically and actively develop performance and capacity within a team
  • Design and deliver programs that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes to Voyages and Aṉangu through funded programs, including budget management, compliance and reporting
  • Provide operational leadership for the Anangu Communities Foundation (ACF), including increasing the profile of the Foundation, review of applications and reporting to the ACF Board
  • Enhance Voyages capacity for culturally safe engagement to increase Aṉangu employment and other outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Regional Engagement

Requirements:

  • Outstanding stakeholder management abilities
  • Over a decade of experience collaborating with Aboriginal communities in remote Australia
  • Skilled in managing projects and programs while delivering results across diverse settings
  • Current Working with Children's Check or ability to obtain one
  • Valid Open Australian Drivers License
