Job Description:

Reporting to the CFO, as the General Manager Finance, you will lead the Group’s financial reporting, accounting, control, and finance operations functions. This role is a cornerstone of the Group Finance leadership team and plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, governance, and performance of the Group’s financial framework. The role will also partner closely with senior leaders across the business to support strategic decision-making, business performance, and long-term value creation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead all financial accounting activities across the Group
  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting, including monthly results, Board reporting, and statutory disclosures for a listed entity
  • Oversee financial risk management relating to accounting, tax, and operational finance activities
  • Provide high-quality financial insights and analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making
  • Contribute to leadership forums, business planning, and long-term financial modelling
  • Partner closely with the CFO, Head of Capital, and Investor Relations on Group performance, governance, and external messaging
  • Support M&A activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration from an accounting and control perspective
  • Oversee Group tax governance
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team

Requirements:

  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is essential
  • Extensive senior finance leadership experience within large, complex, and preferably listed organisations (highly desirable)
  • Strong background in financial reporting, accounting governance, and financial control
  • Sound commercial judgement with the ability to balance rigour with pragmatism
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including at Board and Executive level
