Randstad is proud to be partnering with a well-recognized international retail & lifestyle brand with a strong presence across Asia. To lead this expansion, we are looking for a highly driven and strategic General Manager (Retail Fashion) to spearhead operations, build a strong local team, and establish the brand’s presence nationwide.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute strategies to position the brand, expand retail footprint, and drive customer engagement
  • Build, lead, and inspire the Malaysia team across retail, operations, marketing, and support functions
  • Foster a high-performance culture that reflects and upholds the brand’s global values
  • Take full ownership of the P&L for Malaysia, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence
  • Partner closely with regional and global HQ to ensure alignment with the overall brand vision and strategies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with landlords, business partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Champion customer experience initiatives to strengthen brand loyalty and market presence

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of experience in retail management (fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands), with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven exposure to market entry, expansion, or scaling businesses in Malaysia or Southeast Asia (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in managing P&L and multi-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment, while backed by a global brand
  • Bachelor Degree
