Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirement, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, person centred care based on best practice
  • Responsible for ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff
  • Act as focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals
  • Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained
  • Provide on-going inspirational leadership and management
  • Ensure costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment
  • Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent
  • Hold a current NMC
  • Possess excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT
  • Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice
  • Live values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable
