Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining and improving distribution operations through maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs. Ensures compliance with training and safety standards, monitors equipment and facilities, maintains inventories, and processes various tasks related to reports and documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Maintains distribution operations through daily maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs of warehouse facilities
Collects feedback from management and participates in discussions around improvement projects and activities
Communicates in collaboration with department managers on instruction to ensure that associates are following training and safety standards
Compiles electronic records on maintenance projects within the distribution facility
Provides status updates on project completion
Monitors the ongoing maintenance and service of equipment, forklifts, and/or vehicles within the distribution facility
Observes the distribution team and working conditions to determine if recommendations can be made to improve operations
Organizes facilities for the distribution department and conducts preventive maintenance activities
Performs work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments and follows routine maintenance schedules
Documents schematics to help maintenance technicians navigate through projects for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Performs required duties while operating all equipment (printers, terminal, PC, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner
Operates terminal and computer to drop CVS store orders, new store set ups, run reports, and print daily, weekly, monthly, and annual documents
Sorts all documents produced and distributes to appropriate locations for pick-up
Contacts and works with Management, EXE and the Data Support Group/Technicians in Woonsocket to resolve any and all problems as needed
Maintains inventories on site
Sends weekly inventory reports to Corporate contact and immediate Supervisor
Maintains a daily log tracking downtime and identifying trends
Processes Rush Orders
Processes New Hires and Separations
Processes all RX daily re-bills
Assists in maintenance and troubleshooting of WMS Hardware

Requirements:

Ability to read, write and count accurately
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
Ability to operate various equipment including Computer Terminal, PC, IBM Printers
Professional telephone skills
Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance
Comfortable working in warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to use UPS machine
