Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining distribution operations through daily maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs of warehouse facilities. Works with management on improvement projects and ensures safety standards are followed.

Job Responsibility:

Maintains distribution operations through daily maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs of warehouse facilities
Collects feedback from management and participates in discussions around improvement projects
Communicates with department managers to ensure associates follow training and safety standards
Compiles electronic records on maintenance projects
Monitors ongoing maintenance and service of equipment, forklifts, and/or vehicles
Observes distribution team and working conditions to recommend operational improvements
Organizes facilities and conducts preventive maintenance activities
Performs work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments
Documents schematics for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and count accurately
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
Ability to operate various equipment including Computer Terminal, PC, IBM Printers
Professional telephone skills
Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to use UPS machine
Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
