Job Description

The Mid-Level General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. The Mid-Level Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

Requirements

  • Previous General hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.) required
  • Good communications skills are required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
