A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. A Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems. Good communication skills are required as this role will interact with colleague and guests to fulfill requests and complete work orders. The hotel General Maintenance Engineer reports to the Director of Facilities and works closely with the team to ensure the hotel is compliant with local, state, and federal safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator, and able work well independently, while also being open to some collaboration from time to time.
