General Maintenance Engineer

• Performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, public area, meeting spaces, and back of house facilities
• Routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs of building systems and equipment
• Depending on experience, duties may range from preventative maintenance and repairs to more advanced work involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, laundry, and other facility equipment
• Helps ensure a safe, function, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members
• Regularly interacts with guests and must maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor

• 1 – 5 years of maintenance experience required
• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.)
• Refined communication skills
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
