Job Description

General Maintenance Engineer 2nd Shift at the Grand Hyatt Denver will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces. This includes responding to guest room calls in a timely manner and providing outstanding service for our guests. This role will also include mechanical repairs as needed in kitchens, mechanical spaces and interior/exterior building repairs. This role requires a candidate that communicates well and self-motivates in lower call volume periods. This position is posted for as 2nd shift hours being 3pm - 11:30pm. Must have open availability and be able to work weekends and holidays. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs. Job Responsibility

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back-of-house spaces

Requirements

  • Technical Experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering)
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Good communication skills (Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff)
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Two to three years of previous hotel experience preferred
