Job Description:

As a General Ledger & Reporting (GL&R) Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial administration. You will gather data from various systems, perform rigorous checks, and ensure a seamless monthly closing and reporting process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Data Management: Gather accounting-related information from various systems (SAP, retail, wholesale, etc.) or request data directly from local Business/Finance teams
  • Accuracy & Compliance: Verify data for accuracy and completeness, aligning closely with local Controllers
  • Financial Reporting: Process monthly GL&R input and perform required checks to ensure the correctness of all accounting and reporting
  • Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure reliable accounting records and minimize outstanding balances
  • Intercompany Transactions: Handle the monthly/quarterly booking, follow-up, and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
  • Accounts Receivable: Process and monitor accounts receivable (AR) activities
  • System Integrity: Manage daily interface controls and take proactive measures to resolve any errors
  • Specialized Accounting: Process accounting entries related to the transfer of receivables (intra-group), securitization programs, and third-party factoring
  • Audit Support: Provide detailed accounting data and documentation for internal and external audit requests
  • Process Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of related business processes to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics (or equal through experience)
  • Knowledge of managerial and statutory accounting, policies, rules and flows
  • Expert knowledge and application of Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Be flexible and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Be able to treat information in a confidential way
  • You are highly proficient in English
  • You are available until September 30, 2026
