Our customer is the leader in providing modern business solutions. We're looking for a GL & Tax Manager who will lead a team of GL specialists and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with company's accounting policies (IFRS-based) and local regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise team of GL specialists
  • Prepare and review journal entries with proper supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with Business Control and other departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records
  • Ensure financial reporting aligns with IFRS-based policies and local GAAP requirements
  • Submit accurate and timely financial data for group reporting
  • Perform and monitor balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations, addressing root causes of discrepancies
  • Conduct account analyses to validate journal entries and account balances
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation and explanations
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for GL processes

Requirements

  • University Degree (preferably in accounting/finance or relevant)
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in similar area
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Team management skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to set up priorities
  • Fluency in English
