Job Responsibility

  • Ensures accurate, complete and timely accounting information for assigned entities in close collaboration with the internal finance colleagues
  • Works in partnership with the Chief Accountant and team members to support smooth and efficient month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Shares responsibility within the team for accounting deliverables, ensuring alignment, transparency and effective workload distribution
  • Prepares and supports monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entities
  • Contributes to timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc)
  • Reviews accounting postings and supports resolution of operational requests in collaboration with colleagues
  • Actively participates in process improvement and automation initiatives together with the wider accounting team
  • Supports knowledge sharing and continuous development within the team environment
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional and international finance teams to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery

Requirements

  • 2+ years accounting experience
  • Very good English (written and spoken)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a business-related subject
  • Very good communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Proactive approach, 'can do' attitude, and good goal setting skills

Nice to have

  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience in Shared Services environment
  • Participation in projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to international entities and multi-country collaboration
  • Experience with automation or transformation projects in finance
