Job Description:

Are you looking to kickstart or further develop your career in General Ledger accounting within a dynamic and international manufacturing company? Do you possess a strong command of German and have some initial experience in accounting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Cracow! Our client, a well-established and innovative manufacturing company based in the vibrant city of Cracow, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GL Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is a fantastic chance to build upon your existing accounting knowledge and contribute to the smooth operation of the General Ledger processes.

Job Responsibility:

providing essential support to the General Ledger team in their daily accounting tasks
conducting reconciliations of general ledger account balances with subsidiary systems
meticulously verifying the correctness of invoices, bills, and other financial documentation
accurately processing financial documents and inputting data into the accounting system
assisting in the preparation of basic financial reports and analyses
collaborating effectively with other departments
undertaking additional tasks as required by the business

Requirements:

first experience in General Ledger/ record to report or intercompany accounting (ideally gained within an SSC/BPO environment)
fluent German language skills (minimum B2 level)
good command of English
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player
