Job Description:

Are you seeking a dynamic and physical role where your hard work directly contributes to a well-organized operation? We are currently hiring a General Labourer (Record Center Specialist) to join our team in Bedford, Nova Scotia. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on individual to gain valuable experience in the manufacturing & logistics sector.

Job Responsibility:

Safely lift and move boxes of confidential documents weighing up to 50 lbs
Accurately read labels and process incoming and outgoing orders for documents
Utilize a proprietary computer system to track and locate orders within the facility
Operate a handheld scanner to process orders and maintain inventory accuracy
Load and unload boxes from trucks and shrink-wrap pallets for secure transport
Use ladders and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and work both independently and as a team member
Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations

Requirements:

Strong physical endurance and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners
Solid time management skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Effective teamwork and communication skills
A proactive and safety-conscious attitude
Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing & logistics, or similar environment is an asset
Prior experience as a General Labourer or warehouse worker is considered a strong advantage

What we offer:

Competitive hourly wage of $18.80
Consistent full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
