Job Description:

Are you seeking a dynamic and physical role where your hard work directly contributes to a well-organized operation? We are currently hiring a General Labourer (Record Center Specialist) to join our team in Bedford, Nova Scotia. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on individual to gain valuable experience in the manufacturing & logistics sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely lift and move boxes of confidential documents weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Accurately read labels and process incoming and outgoing orders for documents
  • Utilize a proprietary computer system to track and locate orders within the facility
  • Operate a handheld scanner to process orders and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Load and unload boxes from trucks and shrink-wrap pallets for secure transport
  • Use ladders and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and work both independently and as a team member
  • Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations

Requirements:

  • Strong physical endurance and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • A proactive and safety-conscious attitude
  • Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing & logistics, or similar environment is an asset
  • Prior experience as a General Labourer or warehouse worker is considered a strong advantage

  • Competitive hourly wage of $18.80
  • Consistent full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
