Job Description

Are you a reliable General Labourer with a valid CSCS card and happy to water plants along with other site duties? Workshop Recruitment is advertising on behalf of a well-established construction company seeking a hardworking General Labourer for a new-build residential development in Salisbury. This is an easy 1–2 week assignment, with the majority of the work involving watering plants across the development, alongside some general site labouring duties. The successful General Labourer will be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with a range of tasks to support the site team, especially watering plants, Driving is preferred due to the location of the site, must live local to Salisbury.

Job Responsibility

  • Water plants and landscaped areas across the development
  • Carry out general site clearance and housekeeping duties
  • Assist with site set-up and preparation tasks
  • Move materials and equipment around site as required
  • Support trades and site management with general labouring duties
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow all site health and safety procedures
  • Complete lifting and shifting tasks when required.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Previous experience as a General Labourer
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Able to carry out manual handling duties
  • Good awareness of site health and safety
  • Driving licence preferred due to site location
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Live in good travel distance of SP2
  • Able to provide two satisfactory work references.
