Job Description:

Maximize your earnings and put your strength to work on this high-impact, focused contract project. We are currently seeking a motivated, high-stamina General Labourer to join our crew for an immediate-term engagement centered on site clearing, material transport, and heavy-duty industrial support. This isn't your average desk job; it is a physically demanding role designed for those who have the grit to handle the heavy lifting required to keep a site running at peak efficiency. You will be a vital part of our workflow, ensuring that materials are exactly where they need to be to keep the project on schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manually move, load, and unload materials weighing up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift
  • Use dollies, carts, or sheer muscle to get supplies exactly where they need to be
  • Help sort, stack, and organize heavy inventory to keep operations moving
  • Strictly follow site safety protocols and wear all required PPE to keep yourself and the team injury-free
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read English labels

Requirements:

  • CSA-certified steel-toed boots is REQUIRED for site access
  • 6+ months of previous heavy warehouse or industrial experience is considered a strong asset
  • Prior experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks is an asset
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Comfortable working in various environments (warehouses, outdoors, or manufacturing floors)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation is preferred to ensure consistent attendance
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read English labels

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks is an asset
  • Reliable transportation is preferred to ensure consistent attendance
What we offer:
  • $16–$17/hr + 4% vacation pay, paid weekly via direct deposit
  • Many of our roles have immediate start dates
  • Convenient day shifts
  • Multiple locations accessible via Winnipeg Transit
  • Gain valuable experience through diverse temporary assignments
