Job Description:

General Labour to focus on loading/Offloading glass from machinery, move racks to designated areas

Job Responsibility:

Loading/Offloading glass from machinery
Move racks to designated areas
Locate, move and assist with glass
Insure glass remakes are taken care of and prioritized
Ensure work area is clean and organized and free from obstructions
Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure
Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects
Monitor production efficiencies and quality regularly during the shift and provide corrective action plans with employees while maintaining accurate communications to appropriate departments
The ability to understand and follow instructions

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required
Must be able to lift 50 to 75lb. unassisted
Must be able to lift up to 150lb. with assistance
Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Nice to have:

Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Glass industry experience is preferred (not required)
