Employment term: On contract from August 15th, 2026 to January 30th, 2027. Hours: Averaging 40 hours weekly (overtime rate - time and a half). Wage: $22.45 hourly. Work Language: English. About Working on a “Floatel”: LandSea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger “Floatel”. At work, the crew is provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and can access health/gym facilities when off work. We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from locations. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are being offered. About the Opportunity: This is a temporary position for a service contract that will end on January 30th, 2027. We currently have Five openings for Kitchen Helper. This position is responsible for assisting in preparing meals and ensuring the kitchen, dining, and living areas are always clean and sanitary. This position requires the ability to follow directions and be diligent, focused, and consistent. Comfort with kitchen equipment and knife skills are required. Applicants must have minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel or cruise ship and must have the ability to work long shifts, weekends, holidays in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Available to work multiple rotations. Must have good verbal and written communication skills (read, write, and speak English). Meticulous attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills. Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently, and as a team player who supports, motivates, and encourages others.
