General Hand

• Plan and perform grounds maintenance and revegetation activities
• Perform general building maintenance, inspections and cleaning in accordance with work schedules
• Repair, refurbish or replace defective components and perform corrective maintenance activities as required to promptly restore functionality of facilities
• As part of a multi-skilled team, provide general support to site facilities and infrastructure

• Experience maintaining grounds or gardens using associated plant and equipment in a safe and effective means
• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of hand and power tools to maintain and repair facilities and equipment
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work in a diverse team environment
• Ability to use initiative, prioritise and work within defined timeframes
• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WH&S and workplace diversity
• Experience in basic computer use, including Microsoft Office applications
• Physical capacity to undertake manual labour, ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors
• Suitability to work in a high security environment
• A current ‘C' Class Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
