General Hand

• Perform general cleaning duties: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, laundry, and washing walls/windows
• carry out light domestic tasks as required
• work under the guidance of the Team Leader to foster positive team relationships aligned with Aruma’s core values
• supported employees are encouraged and assisted to develop new skills and achieve their employment goals
• tasks are completed in line with instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors, as well as contract specifications and schedules

• Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or equivalent experience in commercial cleaning
• physically fit and capable of meeting manual handling and environmental demands
• ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• experience supporting people with disabilities, particularly in service delivery, is highly desirable
• strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
• practical problem-solving skills for maintenance and site-related tasks
• Construction White Card and basic knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices
• valid driver’s licence (minimum P2)
• hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
• hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
