General Hand Cleaner

• Perform general cleaning duties: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, laundry, and washing walls/windows
• Carry out light domestic tasks as required
• Work under the guidance of the Team Leader to foster positive team relationships aligned with Aruma’s core values
• Supported employees are encouraged and assisted to develop new skills and achieve their employment goals
• Tasks are completed in line with instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors, as well as contract specifications and schedules

• Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or equivalent experience in commercial cleaning
• Physically fit and capable of meeting manual handling and environmental demands
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience supporting people with disabilities, particularly in service delivery, is highly desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
• Practical problem-solving skills for maintenance and site-related tasks
• Construction White Card and basic knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices
• Valid driver’s licence (minimum P2)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
