General Cover Teacher | KS3 & KS4 | Flexible Secondary Teaching. Position: Daily & Short-Term Supply. Are you a Qualified Teacher looking to reclaim your evenings and weekends? Join our local partner schools as a General Cover Teacher and focus on what you love most: the students. Teaching Without the Paperwork. We are seeking experienced practitioners and ECTs who want to maintain their classroom presence without the "take-home" burden of planning, marking, and data entry. As a General Cover Teacher, you provide the vital expertise that keeps local secondary schools running smoothly, delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects.

Job Responsibility:

High-Impact Delivery: Follow pre-set lesson plans across the National Curriculum, ensuring students remain engaged and productive
Behaviour Leadership: Utilise your classroom management expertise to maintain a calm, focused, and inclusive learning environment
Flexible Support: Provide 1:1 or small-group guidance to students who need extra assistance with the set work
Professional Handover: Leave concise notes for the returning teacher to ensure seamless continuity of learning

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Adaptability: The ability to step into any subject-from Humanities to Art-and deliver a high-quality session
Classroom Presence: Strong rapport-building skills and the confidence to manage 30+ students effectively
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a total commitment to Safeguarding
