Job Description:

Seeking a versatile teacher for general cover. A flexible, proactive teacher who thrives on variety to join a highly regarded secondary school in Woking on a long-term basis starting after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys engaging with different year groups and subjects, providing continuity and high-quality learning experiences even when the regular class teacher is away.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects (KS3 & KS4)
  • Maintaining a positive, productive learning environment according to school policy
  • Supporting students with their work and fostering a culture of curiosity

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience in a secondary school setting
  • A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to think on your feet
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with students
  • The ability to teach French is a significant advantage
