Job Description

A secondary school in the Rochdale area is seeking a General Cover Teacher to join their team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role involves delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will be responsible for teaching pre-planned lessons, maintaining classroom standards, and ensuring pupils continue to make progress across a range of subjects.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Encourage student participation and ensure students remain engaged and complete assigned work
