Job Description

Four Seasons Alexandria is looking for a General Cashier who can prepare the hotel's daily bank deposits, control all House Funds, and issue, audit and maintain all House Banks according to Four Seasons Hotels Ltd. policies and procedures while conducting self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed
  • Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards are in place, as they relate to House Banks
  • Maintain a harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and all departments
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
  • Count, balance, organize and monitor own Bank and safe
  • Process foreign currencies in accordance to local policy
  • Prepare and distribute Cashiers’ due backs
  • Prepare the Daily Cash Report
  • Maintain an accurate, orderly and up-to-date file for all outstanding Bank contracts
  • File documents and reports

Requirements

  • Reading writing and oral proficiency of English language
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients
  • University Degree - preferably major in accounting/ finance
  • Use ample and efficient time to fully grasp the financial and practical implications before making a decision
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
  • Require a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
