As a General Assistant you will support across multiple departments, each motivated in providing the highest standards of service to our guests at Condover Hall. The role will involve interacting with guests and colleagues, working with activities equipment and supporting with hospitality tasks. It is expected our General Assistants will take pride in their work, enjoy working as part of a team, and thrive in a busy, hands-on environment.
Job Responsibility:
Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard
Prepare beds and ensure fresh linen and supplies are ready for guest arrivals
Clean and maintain communal areas, including corridors, lounges, and the swimming pool area
Support with reactive Maintenance issues
Assisting with setting up evening entertainment equipment for our Activities Team according to the guests timetable
Welcoming and serving guests on our Reception desk and Gift Shop
Deliver excellent customer service by dealing with telephone and in-person guest queries
Serving guests and colleagues evening meals in our Canteen
Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
Work efficiently during the busy evenings
Support other departments as required to ensure smooth operation across the site
Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive environment for all guests
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn new skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active role
Able to be flexible and reactive working in a multi-faceted role
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
