Job Description:

General Assistant/Kitchen Porter role within the Catering Department at Charterhouse, serving meals to students, staff, and guests. The role offers a work/life balance with approximately every 3rd weekend off and closure over the Christmas and New Year period.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to students, staff and guests 7 days a week
  • Flexible working approach as a 5 out of 7 day job
  • Working morning shifts (6.30am - 2.30pm) and evening shifts (12.30pm-8.30pm)

Requirements:

  • Ideally have experience working within Education Catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail
  • Be a team player, and enjoy succeeding as a team
  • Possess great customer service skills

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including but not limited to automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery within the Oracle Cloud Environment
