Requirements

Minimum high school
1 to 2 years of experience as an assembler in a electrical machinery assembly environment
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (infrequently)
Capable of standing and working for extended periods
Comfortable with the use of power tools and manual tools
Understand assembly drawings
reading and understanding instructions

Job Responsibility

Assemble components in accordance with documented work instructions and drawings
Use hand tools and basic production equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain expected production speed while meeting quality standards
Accurately complete work orders and production documentation
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they are free from defects and suitable for further assembly
Perform basic testing and sign off on completed work when required
Report quality, safety, or equipment concerns to the Plant Manager
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
Cross-train and support other assembly and production functions as required
Other duties as required
