Job Description:

Position Summary: Responsible for the maintenance of forms and racks. Work with production team to repair, replace and maintain tooling for production needs on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Works from written and verbal instructions while adhering to policies and procedures to safely: Inspect forms and racks, to ensure that they are ready for production use; Repair and replace forms, wires and racks; Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds as high as 76”
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception
  • Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts and sometimes climb a ladder

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to production team members. Conduct performance evaluations, address performance issues, and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Monitor and inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Address and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and adequate stock to meet production needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Document production issues and provide information to the following shift.
