Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Assembler 3 to support the manufacturing and development of medical devices through mechanical assembly, sample preparation, and testing activities. This role involves working with specialized equipment, following established procedures, and ensuring high-quality standards in a production environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform mechanical assembly and sample builds for medical device products
  • Mix chemical formulations according to established protocols
  • Operate specialized equipment and tooling to heat-form catheter tips
  • Apply coatings and lubrication to medical device components
  • Photograph and characterize completed samples
  • Prepare samples for conditioning and testing activities
  • Conduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications and SOPs
  • Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
  • Follow documented procedures and quality guidelines to ensure compliance
  • Report abnormalities, equipment issues, or non-conforming conditions promptly
  • Rotate between tasks and support various manufacturing activities as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, and understand specifications written in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as microscopes
  • Ability to work independently after training
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and rotate responsibilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or sample builds preferred
  • Experience with chemical mixing is an advantage
  • Experience working in medical device manufacturing is beneficial but not required
