Job Description

Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for cleaning common areas in the production floor
  • Use dust mop to clean production floors.
  • Mop production floor with approved chemicals per procedure.
  • Buff production floors as needed as schedule
  • Clean doors, windows, fire extinguishers, desk areas, chairs, copy machines in the production floor
  • Empty common trash cans from assembly and packaging areas as needed.
  • Clean main and packaging transition rooms daily with approved cleaning solutions (doors, windows, hanger poles, trash cans, etc.)
  • Empty trash cans from transition rooms as needed and replace plastic bags
  • Replace sticky mats a needed.
  • Clean and organize mop closet as needed.
  • Wash mops and mop buckets as at the end of every shift
  • Change dust mops and mop head per procedure
  • Participate in saving projects or assignments as requested by manager
  • Make a positive contribution through demonstration of ability to seek out assistance from co-workers as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 months in cleaning activities - Preferred.
  • High School/GED - Not required
  • Ability to communicate in a positive way
  • Available to work Overtime as required
