Our client is looking for General Accountant for a 3-month contract with possibility of extension. The successful candidate is highly proficient in MS Excel with strong financial and management reporting skills. This role reports to the VP & CFO. Our client is looking for an energetic, highly motivated, proactive and detail oriented individual. The role is 100% in office and they are located in Mississauga, close to the Toronto Pearson Airport.
Job Responsibility
Financial and management reporting in MS Excel
Import raw data in templates and create reports for senior leadership
Assist and prepare the reporting and schedules for auditors
Support the financial statement preparation and annual budgeting process
Prepare reports and ad hoc analyses for local and parent company
Requirements
CPA or actively pursuing
3+ years of reporting experience
Strong MS Excel with the ability to manipulate high volume data and easily perform functions like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, etc.
Experience working in an ERP environment
Proven ability to adhere to deadlines, and prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent planning, organization, and interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiative
